Soft Water For Pigment Process :
Water plays a key role in the process of Organic Pigments. Using ordinary water for pigment process causes high salt level in products and creates many problems to end applications. These problems can be avoided if the water is demineralised and salt free.
Therefore, we use Soft Water in our Production Plant.
Charging :
All the raw materials have some percentage of impurity and it must be removed through Clarifier. Our Quality Control thoroughly tests all the raw materials and removes such impurity prior to use the raw material for pigment production.
Coupling :
In Coupling Process all parameters are well controlled to get production as per international standard. We use MSRL vessel with brick line and the process is controlled by our highly technical experts.
Filteration-Washing :
We use high quality PP filter press with hydraulic system for good filtration, and last washing with soft water to avoid salt contents in final product as well as to get more solid contents in presscake.
Drying :
Normally, some manufacturer use Iron Dryers because of its low cost. Iron has nature of forming rust. But, we believe in high quality standard pigments and therefore we use room dryer with Aluminium Plates to avoid heavy metal content, particularly iron particles.
Our pigments meet European standard as we give less chance for presence of Iron and Metal particles while process.
Pulversing :
In pulverization process, Pigment lumps grind with high RPM ,causes their contact with iron and iron particles and they get mixed with Pigment.
We are using high quality Stainless steel Pulveriser 316 and give less chance for metal presence.
Blending :
For blending some manufacturers use M.S.Blender. This causes iron particles. In order to avoid heavy metal contents in Pigments we use Stainless Steel 316 Blender.
After producing the lot we check all the parameters of Organic Pigments thoroughly in our In-house Laboratory (Application Centre) against multinational standards on application side i.e. plastic Ink, paint etc. and result are viewed on our Macbeth Spectro Photometer.
Classifier Process :
Classifier separates heavy and fine particles by using Cyclone Technology. Some manufacturer use M.S. Classifier because of its low cost. However, during high-speed separation, as a result of contact with iron, the iron particles may mix with pigments. In order to eliminate this problem PRASAD uses Stainless Steel Classifier. This leads to pure and fine particles in final lot with good dispersion and less than 500 ppm grit level. This also avoids presence of any foreign matter.
Packing :
We use HDPE Bag with two strong inside liner or paper bags and jumbo bags (500 Kg & 1000 Kg packaging )with two strong inside liner. Our normal packing size is 20 to 25 Kgs. in bag / drum. |
